Big changes are coming to your local smart home technology companies in Rehoboth, DE. Electronic Interiors is officially merging with the home division of SoundFX, which also specializes in automotive and marine technology. SoundFX will now solely focus on marine and car automation, while the newly merged smart home company will maintain the name Electronic Interiors.

All About Electronic Interiors & SoundFX
Electronic Interiors and SoundFX have been circling the same shore with similar goals for equal lengths of time. Both smart technology companies were founded in 1992, servicing Maryland and Delaware with automation and home theater solutions.
Electronic Interiors has three locations and was co-owned by Greg Cooke and Doug Hargrove. Following the merge, Cooke will assume the role of sales manager at the new Electronic Interiors with Hargrove managing technical operations. Mike Wright, who has run SoundFX for eighteen years, will step in as the general manager of Electronic Interiors. The showcase and design center in Lewes, Delaware will become the new headquarters of Electronic Interiors and the fourth location. The three other sites can still be found in Gaithersburg, MD; Wilmington, DE; and Ocean City, MD.
“Though each company has different strengths, we’ve had similar growth and comparable service offerings,” says Wright, general manager. “Greg, Doug, and I developed a mutual respect over the years. I look forward to working with a pair of proactive partners to expand our reach and drive home electronic innovation to the next level.” Cooke adds that they plan to reach into new areas with the company, including southern Philadelphia and southern New Jersey.
